Every year I usually want to remind you about the importance of the pending new year. Now that we are in the first week of January again, in a brand new year, plenty of new resolutions have already been made and even more have already been broken!
No matter what your personal resolutions are, it is extremely important that you understand the business potential of new years and how much money can easily be made off people’s their best intentions to get healthier, make more money in the new year, to be a much better person, live a better life… or whatever else they are striving to accomplish.
THe University of Scranton and Journal of Clinical Psychology came out with a list of the 10 Best New Year’s Resolutions for 2014. I have listed each of them below.

- Spend More Time with Family
From an affiliate marketing and business stand point, there is really a lot on that list alone that can start making you a lot of money online.
Example one: #1 Lose Weight. Everyone, especially after the holidays, wants to get in much better shape for the new year. While most of the people simply will not last very long with this resolution, it does not stop them from spending a ton of money on trying to make it happen. From weight loss pills, gym memberships, healthy eating guides and buying expensive exercise equipment… several billions of dollars will be spend on the “weight loss” niche during the month of January alone.
Example two: #6 Learn Something Exciting. This is a really good niche for anyone that is creative and who are looking to promote products and services that are not being pushed by many people who are doing affiliate marketing. This products can be anything from trying to make money online, starting up a new blog, learning a completely new language, traveling etcetera, and all of these niches have great affiliate programs and lead generation tactics behind them.
The list of possibilities is almost endless: make money online, dating, diet/weight loss and smoking alternatives are the huge money makers right at this point.
